    CPR Narrow Breakout figures come from our separate CPR study on Dukascopy XAUUSD M1 data (same dates, 0.01 lot), with stricter costs: $0.30 spread + $0.07 commission + $0.10 slippage per trade. It is not the Valetax re-test used for the other rows.

Before you run them

  • Lot size

    Guideline: 0.01 lot for every $1,000 of balance (for example, $3,000 → 0.03).

  • Don't run these pairs both at full size

    Donchian H1 + Keltner H1, and MACD H1 + MACD Extended. They take very similar trades. If you want both of a pair, use half the lot size on each.

  • Extended EAs hold overnight

    MACD Extended, PDH/PDL Breakout and Super EMA Flip can hold trades overnight Monday to Thursday. Every trade is closed on Friday by 11:30 PM IST. A swap-free account is recommended.

  • Demo first

    Run every EA on a demo account for a few weeks first. Trading a real account is at your own risk.

Tutorial

How to install an EA in MT5 and switch on Algo Trading

On a Windows PC or a Windows VPS. Use MT5, not MT4. The EA trades only while MT5 is open.

  1. 01

    Open MetaTrader 5 and log in to your Valetax or Moneta account.

  2. 02

    Click File > Open Data Folder, then open the folder MQL5 and then Experts.

  3. 03

    Copy the .ex5 files into that Experts folder.

  4. 04

    In MT5, right-click "Expert Advisors" in the Navigator (Ctrl+N) and click Refresh.

  5. 05

    Open a gold chart (XAUUSD, or the gold symbol your account shows). H1 is easiest to watch.

  6. 06

    Drag ONE EA onto the chart, tick "Allow Algo Trading", check the lot size (default 0.01) and click OK.

  7. 07

    Click the "Algo Trading" button on the MT5 toolbar so it turns green.

  8. 08

    Check the EA status line at the top left of the chart. Use one chart per EA, and keep MT5 running (PC on, or a VPS).
